About My Photography Journey

My journey into the world of photography began with the iconic Canon AE-1, a trusty SLR from the 1970s, and progressed through the advancements to the capable 5D Mk. IV. After some initial resistance, I finally embraced the mirrorless revolution with the R6 II. For a wildlife photographer, the game-changing addition of reliable eye focus has been essential. After all, it's that precise focus on the eyes that truly makes or breaks a wildlife image. The incredible "stickiness" of modern cameras in locking onto animal eyes has undeniably elevated the craft, significantly improving the keeper rate.
